we've got either rain, high winds, or both for the whole of next week

    That’ll be a novelty ... šŸ™„Ā

Morning all, Not too windy here but it's cold and sunny.Ā  The tree man has arrived and I've made a decision to remove the fir tree and conifer from the bottom of the garden rather than trim them.Ā  They are both ugly trees and been hacked out of shape before we bought the house which has caused them to grow in all sorts of funny shapes.Ā  I am worried about being even more overlooked but I'm biting the bullet.Ā  He can't do it today but will do it soon as the nesting season will soon be upon us.Ā  On a positive note I have loads of frogspawn in the pond Yay!!!

Time to plan soil improvement and attractive replacements then @Yviestevie.Ā  Don't know about spawn yet but the spring frog chorus was warming up nicely in the ponds a couple of hundred metres away from us so no doubt our residents will be at it soon too.Ā  Certainly quite a few egrets around our pond looking hopeful.

Forecast has changed from being miserable tomorrow to miserable for the foreseeable.Ā  Good job I have an endless list of jobs indoors as well as other hobbies!

Hope everyone is managing to stay dry and warm.Ā  Ā Ā

@Obelixx I'm definitely looking at it as an opportunity.Ā  A bit worried because the guy behind us is a bit weird and has quite a few cameras up around his property.

Well, he's either security conscious or keen on recording wildlife activity or, as you say, just weird.Ā  Ā Takes all sorts.Ā

Rain today after 3 nice days. I'm going to Leclerc then tea with a friend this afternoon.

It's OH's birthday and he's seeing the surgeon at lunchtime.

Hannah wouldn't eat her breakfast when I sprinkled the antibiotic on it. The vet said horses like the taste, but she doesn't. I had to mix the powder with apple juice and squirt it down her throat with a syringe.
