    Warmest wishes to you @Busy-Lizzie
I've missed the early bits, but it sounds like you could do with a hug.

  • The rhubarb is way ahead of normal this year ... OH will be getting a crumble for supper this evening

    Cute piggy.  Good save.

I suspect Ciara has just been softening you all up ready for Dennis and whatever E-storm follows that.  Several weather bombs likely to hit in the next few weeks.

I have had a busy morning at the school.  Turns out there'll be 17 kids and 4 British "cooks" showing them how to make a variety of dishes.  Only thing is that one of the "cooks" doesn't cook and is vegetarian to boot so she's coming to me for a day of instruction in how to cook her dishes.  Another "cook" spends all winter in the UK so wasn't even there today to discuss menus and recipes.  She doesn't cook either but, as an ex-teacher, is keen to help kids learn so she'll be coming round for a crash course too.  The other Brit does cook, but very plain and very English.

I did suggest rhubarb crumble but they pulled faces so lemon cheesecake, trifle and treacle tart it is, plus all the savoury stuff.

That's me busy researching recipes then cos, despite being mild now, it is very wet and soggy out there and still blowy.
