Thank goodness you have rain @Pat E I hope the nightmare is now over.
My head isn't hurting now but my eyelids and cheekbones are still swollen. Back to the Doc this morning, he wants to check the antibiotics are working. Then OH is catching the plane this afternoon so I must take him to the airport.

Gosh Busy-Lizzie, I hope the trip to the airport isnāt too much for you. Has the Doctor decided what your infection was caused by? Ā Sounds very nasty.Ā
Doc thought the cyst could have already been infected as it was pink and tender, which is why I'd decided to take the plunge and ask him to remove it. He apologised for not giving me antibiotics before he removed it. Anyway, it's on the mend now.

Hi @Pat E!Ā That river looks a bit more healthy...Ā
Glad to hear you're improving a bit, @Busy-Lizzie.Ā Could OH get a taxi to the airport to save you the drive?
We're about to have another hail shower.Ā It's on and off hail and sun this morning.Ā Fortunately the plumbers are working indoors... and up to now they've managed to leave us one warm room for us and the cat, but our peace will soon be shattered because they need to pipe the new radiator in the lounge.Ā I think we'll take the cat, the heater and a couple of chairs and sit in a bedroom for a bit.Ā She (the cat) is quite bemused...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Same here @Hostafan1 ... bright blue sky and white fluffies racing across the sky at the moment thoāĀ
Lovely niece and boyfriend are planning a trip to Cornwall after her A levels and his first year Uni exams. They want some ideas ... I need to get the laptop out and send a long email with lots of links ...
