Night night LB, Pauline, Pansy and Rubee.  LB a very sweet bedtime picture.  I’m having a cup of tea as I can’t seem to go to sleep and then I’ll probably finish reading my book.

Good morning all. Wet morning here. PF I imagine making a banjo must be a very satisfying hobby and obviously carpentry runs in the family. On that note maybe you should try out the tree pruning course, blood will out!

Got family coming over later for a buffet style lunch/ afternoon tea situation as I will be away on my birthday ( Friday) and so it’s a little early celebration.
    What is everyone doing today?

Hello there PF and Debs. What a wonderful tale PF and how skillful your brother must be. Getting the wood to curve in all the right places and then to hold it all together to make music. A real talent indeed. Interesting genealogy too. My recent ancestors were connected with mining. Maybe thats why I like digging in my garden. Debs it sounds as though you will be busy again today. I hope others will be doing the lion's share of the work so that you do feel its a celebration. How was your night out? Was that another little celebration?
This cold of mine seems very reluctant to let go. I cannot seem to shake it off. I've cancelled my rellie visit again. I shall be glued to the England match this afternoon. Sister and brother-in-law left for Paris at 09:00 yesterday. I will be expecting match comments from my sis during the game.

Good morning LB, yes last night was a little pre birthday curry quite a late night and much wine drunk so need to get up and start baking soon. The cold this year is really lingering and often goes into a cough so you are doing the right thing staying home and keeping warm. Enjoy the rugby 🏉!

Debs enjoy your lunch.  LB it’s best to stay at home and keep warm.  I hope you throw it off soon.  Pansy your brother sounds artistic.  It’s very satisfying making things with your hands.  He must be very good.  I managed to get back to sleep after reading.

Speaking of spillages . Yesterday I knocked a bottle of TCP over in the bathroom . I cleaned it all up but the smell remained. OH went to the bathroom and when he came down complained bitterly about the smell . Even the cats  won’t go in there the smell is so bad ,was his comment .It still smells today and the cats still won’t go in !
