Parts of Scotland have been warned to expect severe gales as Storm Brendan hits on  Monday.

Morning all .  M-U may be in the firing line too for the gales.

T'bird, you have been lucky to get mulch on to the garden before your holiday.  Parts of mine still have a covering of dead leaves but maybe the gales will get rid of them.

Morning Chive, Ruby and Joyce. I was out early this morning and there was a slight frost so not warm at all underfoot. Joyce the wind has built up here over the last few hours so I'm keeping an eye on my bins, especially the paper one that has got the old cards in for recycling. I don't want them scattered up and down the lane.
M-U better batten down the hatches along with you Joyce and there is a distinct possibility that you will just get more leaves dumped in your garden rather than blown away
I filled the bird feeders after receiving a right scolding from the robin so I'll finish my hot drink and then head out again.

Debs your dress and jacket will be very smart and I’m glad you’ve found something you like.  Chive I baked but hadn’t done a lot of cooking before moving in with my partner, but I did know how to cook Sunday lunch and a chilli but the rest was experimental.  Ante it will be nice going for a walk with your Labrador.  I used to walk our dogs but that’s quite sometime ago now but good memories.

Well I've just come in from the garden - done for today. Big green bin full to overflowing with ivy and blinking honeysuckle. That is a serious PITA. I'm cold and hungry. I hope its warmer where you are Ruby if you are intending going out. Wrap up warmly. Reasonable results and fingers crossed for later on in the week.

Ruby and LB, you would be blown away here if you went into the garden plus there's not much daylight.
It's good that your ashma test was stable Ruby.
