Now I am happy that I had the 6 Mrs P's safe in my garden. I too hate all forms of gun sport/hunting. I'll join your rant on that one PF. They are completely calm around Lily and she hesitates about starting a rumble because they are large. Mexican stand off.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Glad to hear Jack is doing ok LB - he'll be glad to get back to the comfort of his own home as soon as possible and (roads not withstanding) it will probably be easier for you to visit him there.
Cauli cheese and bacon steaks for tea tonight. I think that's one of your favourites.
Joyce - that was rather thoughtless of your friend. I might have had to say something...
Pansy - I'll join you in the blood 'sports' rant. Very much huntin' shootin' country around here. Good on you for scattering the pheasants today. Unfortunately we also have a lot of illegal blood sports locally as well - particularly hare and deer coursing. Hateful b*stards who do that. The farmers hate them to because they're usually trespassing and can do a lot of damage to property - I hate them because of the animal cruelty. Unfortunately it's such a hugely rural area it's nearly impossible for the police to catch them in the act. There have been a few appeals for intel on the local news over the last few weeks.
This site seems to be playing up this evening - it's logged me out twice in the last half hour.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
T'Bird, my very favourite dish. I'll be with you shortly. Its very much like that round me too T'Bird and Jack has seen men shooting out of season at virtually anything that moves. Jack does worry about pets in the fields at the back.
Hazel, that is absolutely horrendous. What on earth was it an advert for?

I actually made it to college last night! Was good to catch up on stuff.
