No it was scary. As I stepped into my car my right leg just slipped away. Luckily I was able to drop down onto the car seat.

Afternoon all. Home alone today and I've had a very lazy one. Done just enough strategic jobs to make it look as though I might have been working all day.
Making cassoulet for supper which will smell good when OH wanders in and could take all day to cook - but actually I'm just going to saute an onion & garlic with a bit of bacon dump in some baked beans, herbs and worc. sauce and reduce a bit. Then oven bake some sausages and stir them in. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Evenings definitely seem to be drawing out now and there's a lovely sunset.🙂

Topbird the cassoulet sounds tempting.  Chive Bruno isn’t shy of any, he insinuates himself on every one and every furry friend.  He’s a very snuggly boy.  I hope Nel is somewhere cosy at home.  They find the best places.  LB glad you are home safe after your visit.  Do you have some grippers?

T'Bird your cassoulet sounds delish. A good winter warmer. You can SEE your sunset??? V. jealous as all I can see is fog!
Rosie, I think that I need to buy some - just in case.

Meant to say Pansy - I have been to day zero! It's a lovely shop but it's not half small.

Oh Chive - Nel looks so cosy - I just want to bury my nose in her tummy!

My name is T'bird and I'm a cat's tummy sniffer

Off to rustle up the all-day-cooking 😉 cassoulet.

...and 20 mins later the cassoulet's all done. Just need to let it all cook together for about an hour while I have a well deserved G&T after my hard day.🤭

Good old Nell Chive. I'll be round for a sniff in a bit!

Pansy - like the idea of that shop - wish we had one near us. Closest we have is a health food store where you can buy loose spices and dried herbs. I can get 20 long sticks of cinnamon there for less than I'd paid for a tidgey little glass jar of 3 or 4 pieces at the supermarket.

Cinnamon & nutmeg are my 2 very favourite spices.
