    I really, really miss cheesecloth hippy-style dresses and blouses and gypsy skirts. Don’t miss kitten heels or platform shoes though - fell off those once too often.

    Favourite ads - Colgate ring of confidence, Camay soap with Katie Boyle, a glass and a half, Hamlet cigars, for hands that do dishes, and what was the one where they whispered ‘B.O.? Was that Lifebuoy soap?

    I'm saying nothing! T'Bird, cheesecloth was WONDERFUL because it never needed i*****g. Cannot remember about B.O.
    I recall us saying 'Swinging, Dodgy; Fat and Podgy'
    I just remembered loons!

    I always thought the Afghan smelt like the hides were straight off the animal - they stank. Totally disgusting. Late 60's PF.
    I reckon if anyone leaned over and whispered B.O. into my shell like I'd probably think they were telling me to get lost!
    Don't remember that one T'Bird.
