Hi all, sorry haven’t read back. Been in Liverpool with my son just on way home now for a night in my own bed before I head back up there tomorrow. Had a difficult few days as he has been really unwell but he is off oxygen , morphine and IV antibiotics now so if he continues to improve they will let him eat tomorrow and he can come hone early next week. I am just thankful for his strong constitution and antibiotics! Hope you all have a lovely weekend planned
Chive yes thank you my shoes arrived and fit well luckily. It certainly saves traipsing. You’ll be ready for the weekend and a break from school though. Night night LB have a relaxing evening, put your feet up. It’s good to hear Jacks back home withKitty and hope he is feeling better. Alfie is getting on with the other cats and yesterday slept next to Bruno on the sofa. He’s asleep next to me at the moment. I was reading a message from Joyce and still can’t believe she’s gone. Bless her. We will miss her. MU if your catching up hope you are okay as can be after Tommy Potter. No doubt the other cats are keeping you entertained and we can appreciate all your hard work on the house. I do hope you are okay. Hazel have you managed to do some gardening or has it been too cold. Goodnight and sleep well. I was reading a book called Every time a bell rings which was about Belle who had come through some stresses and was down and an angel came to her and showed her the way in a tough love sort of way in a parallel universe. She realised how special everyone was to her and when she returned from the pu she had a much deeper appreciation for the love that she had for those in her life. It was quite thought provoking.
Glad to hear Jack is home and Debs son is making a good recovery. They’ll both be looking forward to sleeping in their own beds. Love herons - they always look very elegant and rather superior. Sorry your meal wasn’t up to much LB but it sounds as though you had a good day. Not much happened here today and the same looks to be on the cards for tomorrow. January is a very tedious month IMO. Sleep well everyone.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Stunning photo Pansy. It must be satisfying to have such beautiful bird in the garden. Btw, I adore birds.
I had a well rested night. It was needed after tense in Handball semifinal. Yesterday was nice warm and sunny day. Now is raining but it's still warm. I have absolutely nothing in the plan for today except few minor things in the house.
LB, it's important that you had a nice time with Canasta friends. Lunch will be soon forgotten.😁
I was so pleased to hear that Debs' son is making progress. Such a worry for the family.
PF I will be doing the Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend. I've been a member of the RSPB more years than I care to remember and have always loved my birds.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Pansy, it's European Cup in Handball. Interesting, but I never tried to play it. Understand you about heron and pond. I have similar problem with seagulls. Sorry to hear about Hazel.
LB, enjoy your celebrations. Are you going to have haggis for dinner?😁
