Afties (only just) T'Bird. D-Day - 4. Very exciting for you both now. Its very Springlike here so I have put Lily's TV on and its about finished. A little bit of fresh air will do me good.

LB my great uncle used to tell me to breathe in the fresh air to clear your tubes.  Lily’s tv was yesterday for me.  Topbird you’ll be all prepared ready to set off on your hols.  I think I’ll give my hair a trim today after a wash and blow.  It is bright sunshine now and no longer jumper weather for these last few days.

Pansy - we set sail at 11pm on the 31st - exactly the time the UK officially leaves the EU. We'll find out 8 hours later😁

We did take the precaution of getting a green card (à la olden days) because that can't be done electronically. But we've decided that, unless something goes seriously wrong in the next day or so, we won't need International driving Permits - although we did get some mug shots printed just in case. Fortunately IDP's are readily available at main post offices (same day service). Unfortunately, there's not many 'main' post offices left around here🤨

Rubee I have a few primroses flowering too as well as lots of snowdrops.  My replacement Viburnum bodnantense 'Dawn' is covered in flowers and the Abeliophyllum outside the back door is just showing some flowers. The Sarcococca is smelling sweetly too. Spring is starting! Hooray!

LB it will be nice to see some colour.  I’ve washed and blowed my hair and thought I’d leave a trim for another day.  I’ve been watching Father Brown.

I agree PF. The scent is intoxicating. I'm holding my breath waiting for news about the diffuser. I hope you've dusted off Elsa as she could prove frightful to LC!

LB and Pansy, I am thinking of getting a sarcococca . Which ones do you think are the best for a small garden also for their fragrance ?
