Good morning all.  It’s started snowing here.  It’s cooler out as I needed to pop out this a.m.  Debs it’s great to hear your son is home.  He might be quite hungry.  I hope he’s got his appetite back.  LB keep wrapped up.  Last year I bought some natural honey from the big river and had that with lemon but your night nurse seems to be helping.  Getting some sleep makes a huge difference.  Hope you’re feeling a bit better.  These colds seem to take their time with us.  Pansy I don’t know but maybe it takes a while for it to take effect and they calm down over time.  Ante I hope you have a good day.  Chive I hope you enjoyed your time with mum and it’s not too cold for you.

Afties all. What a fab story about Pumpkin. I would always go to a shop that had a resident cat. Its been a funny kind of a day here. Just seen a lovely picture of snowy Buxton on the Beeb. I hope that Chey is safe and warm. I think its his Uni night tonight. I was hoping to see a wee bit of snow here Rosie but all I got was rain! Grrr. My sister's next door neighbour keeps bees and I get my honey from her. Its delicious.
PF - have you got any snow?

Can you classify a 2° rise in temperature a heat wave when we are still in single figures?

That was interesting but rather worrying news this morning.

After being forecast rain showers for most of the day we had a very heavy snow shower this morning........ just in time for break. It covered the carpark even though the ground was wet.  Luckily it turned to rain after about half a  hour.

Pauline like you the snow was temporary and we had a heavy downpour.  It appears that the bbc are axing the Victoria Derbyshire programme in the future which is very sad as it’s raised the profile of many matters.  Well done Victoria Derbyshire!

Well PF the fact that this giganormous glacier is melting faster than was thought, but you are right, all news is worrying, thats just another to add to the list. Human beings are the only weapons of mass destruction.

Evening all. New series of Winter Watch now. Sadly I haven't got Joyce here to moan about 'flappy hands' with.
