Late on parade this morning.  Ron’s flat is very unusual and individual but quite impressive.  I’m not sure it’s liveable though but certainly a talent LB.  Pansy enjoy your walk and inhale the fresh air you will feel enlivened but wrap up warm.  The litter tray must have been quite noisy they can scratch for sometime sometimes.  Morning Chive yes thoughts of Runners, Lily, Lantana and Kitty.  Have a good day.  Hope the children are well behaved but enjoy their time with friends.

Pf, I had envisaged you yomping along in the fresh air. It hasn't been too bad here but I don't think I would have wanted a walk really - you just never know when the skies are going to open. I like the sound of your eccentric man. There are not enough of them around these days.
    Feliway hmmmm. Time yet.

Afternoon all - I've been working through the lists. Nearly ready.

Am I the only one who seriously doesn't get that flat? I'd be bl$$dy furious if I was the landlord. Fair do's if you own a property but not if it belongs to someone else.

I do have a soft spot for harmlessly eccentric people though. I think I may be turning into one of them so it's just as well🤭They make the world less beige.

OH had a mate round this afternoon for a bit of guitar jamming. I attended to some jobs then shut myself in the sitting room with the 2012 Call the Midwife Xmas Special. I know that series can be a bit twee and syrupy at times but I love it, and am enjoying bingeing all nine series on iPlayer. Have 3 series downloaded to take away for next week.

Hello T'Bird. What time are you hitting the road tomorrow? I think you have told us but I've forgotten - sorry. Yes, if I were the landlord I would be incandescent. The art work is extraordinary though. I wonder what was going through his head. It must have taken years so you wonder how he got away with it all. I assume Wirral council or whoever it was that rented the flat to him would have had an annual review. Hey ho.
I loved the first couple of series of Call the Midwife but have to confess I haven't watched any of the newer ones.

I’ve accidentally split my screen, any ideas?  I’m playing with settings at the moment.   One rogue finger.  I don’t know if the LA will keep it like that.  Like you’ve said the landlord won’t be very pleased.  Bizarre fireplace.  Someone needed to get him some canvasses but a talent.   It could Be a mini museum. Pansy you were probably best staying in saved you getting soaked. Think it’s chucking it down here.  Chive glad most of them behave.  Topbird all the best for your journey tomorrow.   LB call the midwife certainly takes you back I’m not always certain I want to go back.  I watch it occasionally but not so much recently.

    Is it an iPad Rosie?
If it is refer to this:

How to turn off split screens on the iPad
    1. Open the Settings app.
    2. Tap General, and then tap Multitasking & Dock.
    3. Turn off "Allow Multiple Apps" by sliding the switch to the left.

Rosie - if you don’t want to completely turn off the split screen function on an iPad you can just drag one of the windows completely left or right and you’ll be back to a single screen or window.

LB - the boat sets sail at exactly Brexit-o’clock - ie at 23.00 hrs tomorrow. We’ll probably get on board about 10pm so we’ll set off after dinner at about 8.30pm. Roads should be nice and quiet and it’s usually a straightforward journey - but we’ll check Google maps for any road closures early evening.

Hi T'Bird. I remembered the Brexit hour just wasn't sure when you were leaving home. That sounds like a perfect time to go.
