Afties all. Rellie visit was nice 'sco was remarkably quiet. The dreaded roadworks are popping up everywhere. Hit three lots today. Where they are situated, they will cause chaos tomorrow morning in the school/rush hour unless they are just restricted to Sunday.
Joyce, I've got a yellow warning of wind for Monday and Tuesday of next week. Time to check on the pots!
Chive, how was the sunday dinner and did the new oven meet expectations?
PF - I'm convinced that many white goods have built in 'fail' mechanisms that coincides with the warranties expiring.

Brrr. It's 4C out there.  I've been to uncle's and now waiting for sm delivery between 3 and 4pm.

LB, it must be a day for roadworks.  Three lots but no long queues as it's Sunday. I have an empty bin theat was blown half way down the steps but it can stay there until after tomorrow's winds.  Hope you don't get anything blown over.

Talk of Sunday dinners.......I've only had two slices of toast and numerous cups of coffee today.

PF, I get lots of both when I have my meal at night.  A big salad for tea tonight followed by fresh fruit.  Veggie meal for the past two nights.
sm delivery has been and all the bread and milk (6 containers) has been lugged down to the basement freezer.

Chive I’m not too bad thanks, enjoy your meal with the family, hope all goes well.  I’ve had a lovely afternoon shower in Shea butter and vanilla such a cosy fragrance and the bathroom is warm too.  LB are you in the garden or is it too wet and windy?

I have been in the garden. Yanked a bit of ivy off the wall. Realised I have more to do than I first thought but the cold and the lack of bright light finished me off for the day. I am full of good intentions for tomorrow. Birds have emptied the feeders so that will be the first of tomorrow's tasks.

Hi all, sounds like all Sunday lunches, shopping trips, gardening and showers were a success! My lunch went well going to snuggle on sofa with kitty cats and a good book, maybe a drop of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet! Hope your evenings are pleasant. Thoughts to those in quiet corner.

    Evening all.
I was at my cottage but it was impossible to do anything outside. Everything was frozen. Instead gardening I was at walk with my dog. At afternoon I started the worst possible job for me, repainting inside doors. Two are finished and eight more to do.

LB, I'm glad that you managed to do some work at garden.

    Chive, your dinner passed well.

Joyce, you had a healthy dinner, I can't say the same thing for me tonight. I should pay more attention to this.

Hello Chive, Debs,Chey and Ante. Debs, you have got the right idea. Very restful. Chey you're right about the temperature but perhaps it isn't as cold here as in Croatia. I'll bet your dog enjoyed his walk Ante but I agree with you about the painting - horrid job!
Chive, it sounds like your new oven is a success apart from the quiet pinger. You could set an alarm on your phone maybe?
