It's been murky all day here so a good one for getting on with a few jobs. Have a lovely long list - tick one off, put two on.

Hope LB had a good day with her bestie and the murk wasn't too bad for driving.

OH has gone to the dental hygienist this afternoon. He's been told to get f&c on the way home because I'm just not in the mood for cooking...

Good afternoon everyone. Had a lovely day . We all won a game of Rummicub.  Friend has gone home now . Waiting for her to give a couple of rings on the phone , so I know she is home safely .

Afties all. Needless to say, no crocheting got done. We did manage to spend my Bestie's money on that famous auction site buying a vegetable rack (tall and skinny) for the side of her freezer in the kitchen.
PF - a sensible man there; after all if he had left it for you to do, you would have been armed and dangerous! Hope the hospital chat goes well tomorrow. It could be huge fun on Skype. Think of the reaction you would get if you wore zombie make up! Sorry, I'm getting silly now. I've obviously had too much sugar at my Bestie's.
I always have to text her to let her know I am home safe. No bad thing really.
Hey T'Bird, how about this for coincidence - what with our rodent issues - 2020 is the Year of the Rat!

Pansy I hope all goes well tomorrow.  Chive put your feet up for a bit.  LB sounds like you enjoyed your day.

There is a distinct possibility that Jack may be coming home from hospital this weekend - according to his daughter who called me today. I really hope so.

He will be looking forward to sleeping until 10:30am again with his familiar things around him and to seeing his lovely little Kitty who is missing him.

    Good news for Jack LB.

Ref all the Rolands down here - I redirected a pest control man to another neighbour 3 doors down. Can’t think there would be too many other pests (wasps etc) at this time of year so I’m guessing she’s got the same problem as the rest of us. Might go and knock on her door tomorrow.

We’re pretty sure the source is the recently moved muck mountain at the tip of the stables up the road. Don’t think any of us will be sad when that particular neighbour turns up her toes and we get a ‘normal’ person living there.

I definitely think my rat problem started when the livery stables, one door along from me, closed down. Never had any rats in the first 36 years of living here.
