Morning - grey and foggy here - looks set in for the day. OH is supposed to be instructing today but the weather will probably put the kibosh on that. Will have to see if I can find him some little jobs to do instead😉

Good morning all, saw my son yesterday terrible shock as he has tubes everywhere and is so pale and thin but he was so pleased to see me. Hoping some of the tubes are coming out today and they let him eat something. Keeping everything crossed that he can come home at the weekend so I can thoroughly cosset and spoil him.

Morning everyone. Good luck at the docs Pansy.Debs I hope that your son can go home at the weekend. Will you be able to get in your garden LB? Pansy so far we have two possible diagnoses.
(None epileptic black outs and a damaged nerve in his brain ). How the first one can be considered to be a diagnosis I don’t understand . But it is .

Morning Chive, T'Bird, Debs and Ruby. My next door neighbour's Mum was cleaning up the owl poop and pellets from the drive - I'm glad I'm getting a break this year - when I went out to the bin and she told me the news that me neighbour has been taken in to be induced this morning. Its a couple of weeks until her due date so the baby won't be too early. Fingers crossed that all goes well for her.
Debs, it will have been a shock for you seeing your son like that but all those tubes are serving a purpose. I hope some of them can be withdrawn today and that your son is soon home for you to spoil him.
T'Bird, It seems that you OH's instruction sessions are being really thwarted by the weather. What with the rain produced mud and now the fog. With you going away on Friday he may have to wait until you get back from your holiday.

Topbird, what next? Leaves on the line? Wrong kind of wind? I’m sure you can think of plenty of little jobs. Mr M now recognises the look on my face when my thoughts are heading in that direction. He says “If that’s a little job for me you’re planning, forget it.”😁

Pansy - I am the mistress of poker faces when it comes to 'suggesting' jobs for him😁

LB - we don't go until the 31st so he has chance yet to earn some pennies to pay for his lift passes 😁

Debs - it is a shock when you see somebody wired up like that isn't it? - but if they're talking about potential 'release' dates they must be feeling reasonably confident of a full recovery. Will he stay in Liverpool or come home with you?

Yes it’s not good to see but I know it’s necessary, I think once they are positive they have got any sepsis under control he can come home, he will be recuperating in my spare room with everything he wants to eat and drink and constant attendance from the cats! His siblings have all been worried sick and are visiting in shifts, he is the youngest and everyone dotes on him so he will be thoroughly spoilt but he has been so stoic through all the unpleasant and painful procedures it’s the least he deserves. I have been very lucky that he is the only one of mine to be in hospital overnight or seriously ill, how do these people with sick children cope?

Debs I hope your son will be able to have a meal soon and thereafter come home so you can look after him.  Pansy I’m just bracing myself to clean the litter tray, apparently it’s my turn and one of the fluffiest ... needs must.  Topbird not long to your holiday now hun.  Chive have a good day.  It feels a little warmer today.  LB I hope the weather has improved for you.

Pansy,my OH is still passing out often ,about once a week .He does have clusters ,then he will  black out two or three times in a day then have a few clear days ,then it starts again . Mostly it’s just once a week .Over the years he has broken his nose , his ribs several times ,damaged his knee several times and numerous times soft tissue damage .
Debs fingers crossed that you have your son back at home soon .

Rubee - your OH's blackouts must be a constant strain - especially as they seem quite random.

Lovely Terry Jones has died😢. Big Monty Python fans here.
