    Good morning one and all.
We have all had to deal with some very sad events over the last months with many of us losing family and good friends and we all deal with these sadnesses in our own ways. The greatest honour we can give is to remember all these people with love and recall the happy, funny times that we shared with them.
I am not meaning this message to be maudlin - anything but. As PF quotes:
    'Onward and upward.'

  • Morning everyone

So very shocked and sad, to read the very sad news. Joyce was a very lovely and kind lady. She sent me some lovely  PMs during and since the diagnosis of my OH.
I hope she didn't suffer or was in pain. Rest in peace Joyce, you will be greatly missed.
My heartfelt condolences to her family.

So very shocked and saddened to hear about Joyce. She was always so helpful and kind. Thoughts go out to her family at this sad time. I believe that when you pass you go to the people and places you love so hope she is happy in a garden where all the plants flourish and the weather is always perfect with everyone she cared for around her.

Morning SGL, Ruby and Debs. Yes indeed, a difficult time. Debs I trust everything went smoothly for you yesterday and how is your son doing in hospital?

All went well yesterday thanks. My son had a 5 hour operation and is on massive doses of antibiotics but things are looking positive. I am going up to Liverpool today to stay in his flat ( give it a good clean too) and be there for visiting. This last week has been emotionally exhausting hoping things calm down now.

    Mums and cleaning!😁
Glad to hear everything went off ok yesterday Debs and sending positive vibes for your son. Take it easy on the roads today - we have that lovely mix of ice and fog...

Have been thinking a lot about Joyce overnight. We will all miss her quick wit and kindness, but she always had a youthful, positive outlook on life - even when she was going through the mill when her husband was so poorly.

So, in a similar spirit, I will do the exercises she kindly wrote out for us a couple of days ago and think of her as I develop the ability to stand on one leg with my eyes closed...
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
