For anyone who is interested, a copy of Fridays menu. They only do a single fixed menu, so they send you a copy in advance, so that if you have an issue with a particular dish, they will try to do an alternative.

Thank you @Artemis3, @punkdoc and everyone who’s sent me such kind birthday wishes.

Punkdoc that menu looks divine 🍽

not fine dining, but very fine food (and beer) all the same, and our room is the best ... looking out over the marshes between Dunwich and Walberswick and just along from Minsmere ... if the name Dunwich sounds familiar its the former capital of East Anglia which is now mostly under the sea ... ‘they say’ that in a stormy night you can hear the church bells under the water. It’s a wonderful place.

You might be offended, but it's £125.
There are some lovely things on that menu @Dovefromabove. I think I would have the Liver.

Thanks @Hostafan1. Some people seem to get very irate about our fairly infrequent fine dining, but I pay my taxes, so I will spend the rest how I like.

I think that the liver may well be my choice too @punkdoc ... but it depends what’s on the Daily Specials board. I’ll let you know in a couple of days’ time 😉
