Extra grumpy this week. My oldest boy has a nasty case of tonsilitis which means I haven't slept in my own bed since Sunday. The only way he gets some sleep is if he is lying in my lap, which would be fine if my vasectomy hadn't been on Wednesday :#  2 nights of sleeping in a chair is normally bad enough but add a restless toddler and a badly bruised gentleman's region and you can imagine how my mood is I'm sure... :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

That's an interesting article, @Papi Jo.  I've often thought that babies seem frustrated, even when very young, because they are not yet able to do what their minds are telling them to do...

Ditto for older people, for different reasons. ;)

Actually it's for exactly the opposite reason  ;)

Many years ago a farmer mate of mine had the snip.  He felt fine afterwards so thought it would be OK to go out riding with the local hunt that weekend.  He discovered he was wrong, but not until after the event.  I suspect he was a bit more uncomfortable than you if that helps. :D

The foxes get quite uncomfortable during the hunt too.

My ex OH rode home after the op on his motorbike.
I really admire you @wild edges. Well and truly doing your bit for the planet.
I was discussing with my grandson the pitfalls of mobile phone signals, maybe its a blessing in disguise that young men keep the smart phone in their trouser pocket.

I remember having a phone in my pocket. It vibrated and I shrieked. I thought something had crawled up my leg. Very embarrassing😖
