We flew in to The Galapagos from  Quito via Guayaquil. That seems to be where most people transit. The Ecuadorian government have very strict regulations for the cruise boats, and we met many islanders who really care about the environment, from people at the Tortoise sanctuary and breeding centre, to those growing coffee with giant tortoises trampling around. It is a hard life on the islands, if you don't love them, it is easy to move to the mainland Ecuador.

Have you tried sticky mitts from Lakeland @Dovefromabove? They are similar to using sellotape but quicker. (I'm always leaving tissues in pockets......😕)
  • Thanks @bullfinch 🙏  ... I’ll pick some up on my next trip into the city (the bus stop is right outside Lakeland 😊).

If Sticky mittens give babies a head start, then they might even boost your whole life, @Dovefromabove . :)
  • That's an interesting article, @Papi Jo.  I've often thought that babies seem frustrated, even when very young, because they are not yet able to do what their minds are telling them to do...
