    Lovely photos.
Turned on the tap, no water B- Rang the water board, there is a problem. Others have already reported it. Hope it's fixed before the horses run out. I'm going to see if they have any in the village shop.

Been for knee jab today which is relatively painless and quick.  Not so the preceeding extraction of more flui.  Ouch!   3 days' rest now while it settles so we'll have to cancel dancing on Thursday evening.   Cleaning blitz and shopping on Friday then before we fetch Possum from Nantes on Saturday.

I hope you get chicklet back on time and in one piece @chicky.

Good idea to pool your birthday and Xmas prezzies for a joint treat @Dovefromabove.  trying to convince OH to do that so we can get stuff for the garden.   We need a lot of rust for fruit cages and hen runs and so on.

Great stuff @punkdoc.  Lovely plants at Beth Chatto's.

No mist here but it is grey and occasionally wet and cool but not cold.  Not enticing at all which is probably just as well.

Just spoken to the water technician, they've found the problem and we should have water this evening, if not then tomorrow morning. I bought drinking water in the village and filled buckets from the pool for the loos. I went to the pharmacy in the village too for painkillers and they hadn't water at their house either, Madame was very worried because they have a family and it's children's bath night.

I missed your having water problems @Busy-Lizzie.   Goodness.  Bath night every night for Possum till she graduated to having a shower.  Hope you get the flow back sooner rather than later.

OH has just taken the dogs out for a wet walk.  Why he leaves it till dusk when he has all day is beyond me but they don't seem to mind.

Endoscopy booked for first thing on Friday then Husband's appt in a different dept at 9.30.
They offered me one for tomorrow but Hubby's was already booked so I thought it easier to do both together rather than another 2 hours of driving.

  • Off to Albert Hall tonight for a "Hollywood Christmas concert". Hope this miserable rain holds off long enough for the walk up exhibition rd from the tube. Hope even more that it does not turn into a hail storm like it did Sunday night, though we were on the train at the time so missed the worst of it.
Tree & decorations all finished yesterday, just the oven to clean in readiness.
Spuds, parsnips & sprouts all checked ready for collection early next week from Allotment. It looks like I might need the entire sprout crop for the big day they did not do well this year.

    Evening.

That made me chuckle @steephill. I wonder if they will allow to people to help themselves?!

Hope you all doing ok today.

As sad as it is, they will, probably, all be thrown away.
