Love tagine @Hostafan1, that one sounds good. I like fruit with meat, but OH isn't so keen.
The beef and prune version might work as the prunes almost disappear into the sauce during the long slow cooking.

Thai red curry with prawns for us tonight.   Something quick cos I've been busy sewing all afternoon.

@Busy-Lizzie - you could substitute star anise for the juniper berries or just leave them out and use extra fennel seed.  I'll post it on the recipes thread.   Hope you get your water back and find something that will do for lemon sole.  Fresh or frozen tilapia?

    Good luck for tomorrow @Hostafan1

  • We had Capon when I was younger had quite forgotten about it. We will have Turkey again as we need something big enough to feed a bakers dozen. Made yet another batch of soup today, used the first parsnip dug this year as it was huge but had multiple roots, and the top had a lot of slug damage. Not seen this on Parsnip before no idea why it's so bad this year, similar damage on a lot  of the maincrop spuds this year too.

@Pat E  our news tells us some states have nearly 50 C  no idea how you cope in such conditions.
