@Obelixx, Leclerc sell semi skimmed milk it has a blue top. Its in with the chilled fruit juices in our shop but it may be different in yours. There is usually plenty there as the French don't drink it.
I only ever buy skimmed red top, don’t like the animal fats, seen enough of that with OH’s parents, drinking cows milk not skimmed. When she was dying she warned us not to do as they did, keep the animal fats down. So we do.

I know @Floralies but we're used to the semi skimmed UHT now. Neither of us drinks tea and we take our coffee black. OH has milk on his Weetabix in the morning and I only ever use it for cooking.
Our Leclerc has a good range of fresh milk and non dairy milks too - soya, almond, oat etc

Good morning all 😷 Id stay well clear of me if I were you ... you really don’t want this 🤧 OH is at home today so all I have to do is sit on the sofa and write Christmas cards ... he has plans for a Thai prawn curry this evening ❤️ Hope everyone in the West has their hatches well battened 💨

Good morning Dove and those yet to ‘speak’. Sounds like a rotten cold/virus you have Dove 🤧
Supposed to be extremely windy today so probably won’t be venturing out. I’ll be making a list of Christmas food and presents today. Have a good Sunday all.
Morning all/afties Pat. Those fires are hideous around Sydney. Very depressing for people down there. You sound like you have a really bad dose @Dovefromabove. Hope all you snufflers and lurgy sufferers get better soon. Another rough and wild night here, but it's a wee bit calmer just now, before the next lot. Flood warnings in most western areas. We've really been quite lucky this autumn though - much more benign than usual. November was quite dry and steady, which is rare. Skinny milk only for me - or white water, as my girls call it. Semi skimmed is too sickly in tea. I can take semi in coffee or cereal, but I never buy it.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Good morning fellow forkers and apologies for the longest stretch of absence yet! Not quite sure how many months I have to read back....could take a while! Been chasing my tail, spinning too many plates and taking every body blow thrown at me...but along with Elton, I'm still standing! .....Just!..... Trying to give myself a bit of me time, so catching up with you lot will be that time for me. The rest of the time its work, feeding, cleaning usual stuff and caring for 3 hedgehogs and a fluffy stray cat living in the shed! Its a busy life not to mention having to fill bird feeders on a twice daily basis!! Actually done work in my own garden this autumn as well as other peoples which makes a nice change. And now I'm bursting with anticipation to see what its all going to look like when it all comes up!!!! I've moved lots of things about to give more flow, I've been shopping at a pound per perennial plant sale....did some wise shopping there! Lovely pastel patchwork perennial wallflowers and 3 apricot twist wallflowers for Dove. Swags of tulip, narcissi and crocus bulbs through the entire bed and grasses interspersed..... I'm impatient!!!!! Anyway, sorry to have been AWOL so long, I know may of you have been going through tricky times but please know you have always been in my thoughts even if I wasn't around to say so....love to all! I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone's been up to! 😀
Quite bright here at the moment, the highest winds we got forecast is tonight, 36 km/ph. Not bad had a lot worse than that. Off over the border to spend day with daughter, buying a tree on the way there. Lovely little nursery in St Austell very reasonable prices and it’s nice to support small businesses.
