Hubby was woken at 4am by a sound of lick, lick, lick. Looked out the window and found mum kangaroo and junior helping themselves to the bird bath. 😂😂😂. No wonder he had to keep filling it.
They must be having trouble finding water holes around.
The weather bureau is still saying we might get rain late Tuesday and Wednesday. Fingers crossed.
What a lovely photo, Pat. I'm quoting it to bring it up again in case someone missed it.
There was a frost this morning but now it's raining. I'm going to tea with friends this afternoon, then on to Daughter 2 to baby sit her baby tomorrow morning as the child minder can't come and D 2 works, teacher. I'll stay the night with them tonight.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hold on tight to the glass @chicky...to me...to you.... I don't like the teacakes, but I quite like a caramel wafer @Dovefromabove. Not something I ever buy though. Have you had any visits from the 'friend' recently @Pat E? I can't remember if you've said.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Errr...let me think about that... I've thought about it. NO. Can you imagine those creepy things staring at you every day? Almost as bad having them locked away in a case and imagining they're watching your every move...

Another very grey day here. Started the big leaf clear up, always a long job due to the number of trees. One thing is very apparent and that is that there are far less than most years. I assume this is because 2018 was so hot and dry. No one been to view NDN's house yet. I think it might be a slow job, as they are selling the house and the cottage in their grounds.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I've got just the thing @Punkdoc, I've bought a besom broom today as we've got lots of small birch leaves that fall into our garden from the trees outside. I did try to make my own last year but it wasn't very successful. We're just back from our latest day out, went up to the ancestral village in Oxfordshire to lay flowers on my Mum's grave, had a super lunch of hot duck baguettes and salad in our favourite French pub in the village and then called in to see OH's nephew and wife in their new home. They've not long moved in after an 18th month refurbishment - very swish and modern but with some quirky touches, like an arched monastery door to the garage because they salvaged the old door from the house.
Good evening. Those kangaroos @Pat E! Wonderful they have found a little drink. Hope you have all had a good day. Not done much today - except had a lovely Sunday lunch.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Greenhouse half dismantled - in for a cuppa before we tackle the roof ....bit more tricky 😳
