I saw that @AuntyRach, it will always be rosemary I suspect to most of us. How many of us refer to pelargoniums?

I do ... always have ... does that make me a pedant? 😂🙃

I do too, simply because it avoids the confusion we often have on here, re hardy geraniums, versus non hardy pelargoniums.

Me too, it annoys me when they are advertised in catalogues as geraniums.

  • I agree @punkdoc ... 😉 there’s been no end of confusion on here re pelargoniums/geraniums 🤨

It’s just not fair ... how are new gardeners supposed to know what to do when the labels are just plain wrong.

And then we have to ask posters if they really know what plants they’ve bought ... which sounds so patronising 😞

I am a bit of a Pelargonium fan, so I am an exception too. I think we will be safe with Rosemary and Sage as they are so distinctive. I wonder who will be the first to present or advertise roasted lamb and Salvia!

I asked Hubby if the Roos were at the bird bath again last night, and he said that they were there again, except there was also a large male hanging around Mum. 🙄 perhaps it’s time for junior to make his way in the world.

Our “friend” hasn’t been visiting this year because I told here that Hubby was in quarantine while he was having the chemo. 😉 I haven’t told her that it’s now ok. Unfortunately, instead of visiting, she now rings up and spoils the evening viewing a different way. 🤬. Had a bit of a laugh because she has transferred her visiting attention to another couple who have whinged to Hubby that she arrives just as their favourite shows are on. Hubby sympathised with him.

Happy Monday to you all 😁

Greenhouse now dismantled, only thing left to do is move the frame out of the way, but will need to enlist Chicklet’s help for that as it requires many hands.  Builder is due in a couple of weeks, so we have a bit of time.

Miserable weather today, and forecast for the next couple of days is grim.  So inside jobs for me today methinks.

    Morning all.
I've just had brekkies and baby grandson is playing on his mat.

@Pat E can't anyone say anything to her? Or ask her to phone first or tell her when the best times to come are?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
