Was the picnic table flying, walking or rolling, Dove?

With apologies to Pat for going on about it, it's actually not raining at the moment. I may try to get that garlic in this morning before the next weather front arrives this afternoon.

No need to apologise for you rain Raisingirl 😁
I’ve been thinking- with all our wonderfull technology, what haven’t some clever people worked out how to move water from wet  areas

  • @raisingirl it was sort of ambling, like a gentle old cob ... and I was sitting cross-legged on top 🙂

Cont. ...  to dry areas around the world.  Some areas in Africa are appalingly dry. People have to leave their traditional homelands.

Morning all. Someone has stolen our view, we're in the clouds this morning. Can't even see the rest of the village below us. Makes things very quiet and peaceful though.

Morning all/afties Pat.Those kangaroos know which side their bread's buttered  :)
I dare say there's a lot more which will be struggling. Hope your forecasters are right, and you get a decent enough amount this week.
Not much of a view here either @steephill. Another dank, murky day, although it seems to be dry for now.
Lovely about the beavers. They did that up here some years ago, and it seems to be working well. Havent heard any negative news anyway.
It feels very mild outside - it's been warmer overnight than it's been during the day for while. Frost is much nicer though. I might get a wee walk without getting too wet, if I'm lucky.

Morning Fairy. Hubby has found, on line, a gadget that he can set up that will keep the water level up and turn off  automatically. We plan on setting it up so that they can get a drink whenever they want it. It should arrive in a few days. 😃

  • @Pat E if you get another of those gadgets with a long hosepipe you could put one end in
@Hostafan1 ‘s lake and the other end in your water tank ... problem solved 💦 🤣

That sounds good @Pat E. I'm sure the locals would be very glad of a steady supply.
Perhaps you could contact Paul McCartney. There was a longstanding rumour about a concert he did, when they allegedly 'organised' the movement of rain filled clouds.  :D

Got a walk without getting wet - just very dank and dreich and mucky. I saw two blokes ahead of me on the way up to the farm, and they were standing around looking up at the trees along the verge. As I got nearer - I saw the reason. Three of those green parakeets scuttling around in the trees.

I forgot to add this earlier. I thought of your OH @Dovefromabove when I read it the other day  :D
