    Good Morning and G’day.
It has snowed up the valley but just rain here.
Keep cosy and safe anyone battling with weather.

Morning all/afties Pat. How depressing that a 16 yr old can do that. Depressing enough anyway. As @chicky says, what other problems must he have.  :/
That's why I could never do any of these things chicky - big fish in small pools etc. I'd lose the plot with it. Enjoy your day  :)
Hope things are ok today @Hostafan1. Slowly, slowly and all that x
Stay cosy @AuntyRach. Just frost here - snow staying away for now. Minus 4 just now and I can see a beautiful moon out the front windows. It's been stunning the last few nights.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Good morning all ... G’day @Pat E. 😊 ☕️

@Hostafan1 ... gently does it ... one day at a time ((hugs)).

    Keep warm @AuntyRach ⛄️

We've also been watching the setting moon on recent mornings @Fairygirl ... not a chance today tho ... a grey morning with spells of driving rain ... setting a suitable tone for our friend’s funeral which will be so sad even if the theme is to ‘celebrate his awesome life’.  I just can’t believe he won’t be there masterminding it all 😭

It's been snowing hard here for an hour or so. It's sticking on roofs and the grass/plants but the roads are too wet and the ground too warm (I assume). It would have been my Dad's 84th birthday today. I don't ever recall seeing snow on his birthday before down in this part of the country.

Thinking of all you in the flood zones - hope the worst of this weather misses you this time.

I'm going to make bread and get the C**mas pudding started. OH has lit the fire in the kitchen, so hopefully it'll be warm enough in there soon.

    Morning all. again
No snow here but it's might cold: max of 7C forecast. I was hoping to get into the tunnel today. I've not set foot in it since Saturday.

    Afternoon all

Been making "quince" jelly this beautiful Autumn morning. Our chaenomeles cathayensis produced 27 apple sized fruits this year which have been ripening slowly since they fell from the tree a couple of weeks ago. Will turn the pulp into membrillo this afternoon.

Crikey, snow already. None in Norfolk, just rain.

I hope Chicky had a good gardening day.

I hope the funeral went well (Dove).

Man was meant to come to trim next doors Leylandii this afternoon and a prunus, hanging over our car port roof. But it was raining so hard this morning he rang to say he wasn't coming. Hardly rained this afternoon. He hopes to come, with a mate, tomorrow.

We went to Peter Beales and picked up my 2 bareroot roses, Oranges and Lemons and Westerland. Also bought some peony flowered tulips, 2 for the price of one offer.

Made 2 more cushions for the dining room chairs.

  • We’re back. We got through some pretty grim floods around the upper stretch of the River Blyth, parked at a friend’s house and attended the most amazing funeral ... I’ll tell you more about it tomorrow. Tonight we are emotionally and physically drained.
    Hope all are well. 😊
