First snow of the winter is falling and lots more rain due tomorrow. I am battening down the hatches.
So pleased Garry is home @Hostafan1, I am trying to keep the thought of you in a nurses uniform, out of my mind.
I have been following the bike ride for Children in Need, and I am just so impressed by Matt Baker: relentless enthusiasm, boundless energy and a real ability to bond with the children.

    Morning all.Ā
The irony is, he's not able to eat that much, or drink for that matter.
"Low residue diet" and he's only allowed a pint of dioralyte and half a pint of other liquids per day.

Sounds vaguely familiar, Hosta. Ours was because of taste though.Ā

They’ve caught a 16 year old male who is going to be charged with lighting fires. Not sure where.Ā

Hope they make an example of him @Pat E....although at 16 he probably has many issues to be addressed in parallel. Ā He must have known that his actions make him an attempted murderer.

AGM last night was toe curlingly excruciating........beginning to wonder what I have volunteered to get involved with. Ā Politics (with a small p) is one of the biggest reasons for me leaving work .....don’t want to substitute a new set šŸ™„

Off to be a volunteer gardener today ......hoping week 3 is as good fun as weeks 1&2 šŸ˜€

Hi Chicky, I haven’t heard any more about the firebug, but Hubby said he’ll probably get a slap on the wrist - his words not mine.itll be interesting to hear, but because of his age, they’ll keep it quiet.Ā
