Just returned from a really special lunch out (OH treated us) at Cotes ... we even started with cocktails (Sidecars 😋) and then
    a marvellous lunch
... steak tartare for me, gravadlax for him, then a really good traditional cassoulet and a couple of glasses of plummy Malbec ... eventually finishing with a Macchiato.
I also bought myself a pair of bright scarlet nubuck short boots to wear with my new mustard coat. A very successful day 😊
Now we've flollopped on the sofa 🛋.....

    Sounds wonderful @Dovefromabove.
Things really grim here, terrible flooding, looks like one of my flower beds has been washed away. House still safe at the moment.

Sheffield generally is very bad and round here is awful. Our road is closed, so I have had to tell Moira not to try coming home tonight.
Starting to get a bit worried, but there is nothing to be done.

@punkdoc , get some flasks filled with boiling water just in case you lose power too.

Oh @punkdoc - what a pain. I saw the  forecast this morning and wondered if it would be bad with you.  :/
As @Hostafan1 says - make sure you have enough stuff available if you do lose power.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
