  • Oh bless you both @Busy-Lizzie ... scary!  Please give him our best wishes.
Whereabouts was the uneven paving stone?  Walking up from M&S to the Theatre Royal?

  • Time for bed ... may all of us and our loved ones, especially those with need for healing, whether major or minor, sleep peacefully tonight and wake rested and refreshed in the morning.

    Sweet dreams all. 🤗 🥱😴

Busylizzie, sorry to hear about your OH having a fall like that. Hope he’s ok today.

We’ve got extreme winds here. Not happy as I wanted to do the washing, but I refuse to fight the clothes line like I did last week. It was days before my back stopped hurting. 😡

    sleep well everyone.

Morning all/afties Pat. Dry the washing indoors - don't want you having any mishaps
Hope @Busy-Lizzie's hubby isn't too stiff and sore. One of the women at that shoulder clinic I attended, had done exactly the same thing, but she fell hard enough to break a bone. Not too pleasant.
Good luck @chicky - hope you have  good day, evne if it's a wee bit damp  ;)

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    I hope everyone’s had a good night.

@Busy-Lizzie I hope your OH isn’t too stiff and sore this morning. OH and I have a trip into the city planned for today ... I’m going to keep an eye open for uneven paving stones 😧

Good morning.   Kept awake last night by a hooly wind blowing and banging the catflap.  Have now moved strategic pots in front of it to act as a wind diffuser.   Might need a plan B.

Hope OH isn't feeling too stiff and sore today @Busy-Lizzie and that your day goes well @Chicky and they play you with coffee as needed.   Have you not got an indoors airer @Pat E?

Busy day here.  Machine patch class and then dance class this evening and preps to do for both this morning.   That's OK as it's wet again.  Last November was wet too so OH thinks it's a pattern.   He's forgotten that our first November was drizabone and that carried on for another 9 months.

HUgs to all feeling sore, poorly or just weary.  Have a peaceful day everyone.

I succumbed to temptation and used the tumble dryer for stronger garments and put the undies and socks on a clothes horse in the living room. Hubby couldn’t take the cooler temp, so he lit the fire again🤬. I get hot and breathless, but he is still adjusting the the chemo and other treatment effects, so I feel that I have to put up with it for a while longer. Many short visits to the veranda.

    night all.
