In Norfolk now. Was great to see OH waiting for me in the car park at Stansted. The Cottage is so warm and cosy after the big draughty French house.
Today we had planned to go the the theatre to see an afternoon performance of "A Woman of no Importance" by Oscar Wilde, then M&S for a jumper for OH, then a meal out. We took the park and ride to Norwich to go to the theatre, but as we were walking the last bit to the theatre OH had a nasty fall, tripped on an uneven pavement stone and went flying. He wasn't looking as he was pointing out the old Norwich Union Insurance office where my grandfather had worked. It's a fine building. He was very shocked, went white and clammy, but managed to walk to the theatre, thank God, as he needed a comfortable place to sit. An usher fetched a cup of water and I gave him fruit pastilles once we'd established that it was just bruising, nothing broken. He's very sore but much better now. We decided not to go out for a meal or M&S and the theatre staff ordered a taxi to take us back to the car.
Apart from the worry I enjoyed the play.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
