That's a drag @Dovefromabove. I had to get a new one late last year for my, at that point, just over 2 yr old car. The guy who came out was brilliant and said, that's the problem with these newer cars = all the bells and whistles [that I don't need] drain it.  :/
At least I didn't have to pay for it -still under warranty.
I think there's lots of little areas round here which won't thaw completely today. The field nearest the farm will never get any sun - it looked really pretty though  :)
Some sustenance now and then I'll get on before it gets too chilly again.
Pity I'm not nearer you @punkdoc- could have given you a hand. Maybe time to rethink them, as @Obelixx says. It becomes a poisoned chalice.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I just thought I'd update all of you who looked at the link re the theft at the Maggie's Centre, and also posibly donated etc.
I had a personal reply, and I've replied saying that the good people here had also chipped in. She said they'd had so much support on social media etc, so hopefully they'll be able to replace everything.  :)

That’s brilliant news @Fairygirl 😊  .... a kick in the teeth for the lowlife vermin from all the good hearted folk there are in the world 😊

I’ve had Lola (she was a showgirl 😉) since 2012 ... and she was no spring chicken then. Not only does she have virtually every bell and whistle available for when she was made, she’s a convertible with an
electronic retractable roof ... and I've never bought her a new battery .... I think she deserves one now 🎁 😆

A nice new shiny one at that  @Dovefromabove ;)
    Can't have showgirls looking tarnished.
Despite it's clear advantages, I'm starting to dislike my car very much...   :D

Just back from collecting a parcel,   Very pleased to see Goldfinches and Robins back from wherever they go for a month or so, next problem, they’ve brought the hugest flock of starlings you ever did see with them, hence no bird food left.
Ok, I know it’s not a flock, just can’t think off hand what the are😀

Glad Lola passed with minimum expense. @Dovefromabove

I've seen a few murmurations lately but they've not discovered our feeders yet

    Hi @Lyn?   How's the kit-napping going?
The kit napping seems to be going well, he spent last night in the shed  on a Duvet, I put food in there for him and that was gone this morning, then looked up this morning and he was sitting on the top of the step right in front of the French windows. I took his food out to there and he just ran behind a shrub and came straight out to eat it.
the last one I coaxed in took bout 3 weeks, they are very wary of people when they’ve been fending for themselves it takes the ages to trust.
Out of the 13 cats I’ve had, only 2 came from domestic homes.
