It does sound like a disco band from the 70s , lol.
    I hope you're both well.

Getting there, Hosta. The latest is that my Doc has decided that there are some veins inside my heart that appear to have some gunge in them. Result - appt to visit a Cardiologist in Canberra (Oct) and a treadmill walk. Not looking forward to it.

You must have needed it Dove. So good on you.
Our weather is springlike  Hosta but it was still minus 6 this morning. The snow fields still have a good cover which we can see when we are driving to town.

Hubby  said there is another tropical storm heading towards the Bahamas. Poor things - dont know where they’ll find shelter.

  • @Pat E I suspect that Punkdoc has had to do a few of those treadmill walks ... you can keep each other company 😉

Good morning everyone.   Lovely sunrise this morning - clear and bright - but the sun is barely peeping over the hedge.   At least it makes the Cosmos alarm cat a bit later.  Nothing but sunshine for the next week or so and 33C in the next few pms.   Lovely.

Septic tank emptying today - loads of fun trying to tell chappy how to find us cos most satnavs are very vague about our location.  Why do they not listen to directions?

SM raid after and then tomatoes.  Lots of big fat beefy ones coming along.   Yum.

Hope you sort them out @punkdoc.   I suspect there are two basic measures that would improve A&E - separate the drinks and bingers with self-inflicted/inebriation injuries and make them clean their own mess once sober and treated and make sure it's not just baby doctors on duty.  I once had one do a procedure on my knee with the book in front of her to show her how and saying it said it wouldn't hurt.  The book was wrong and the junior doctor was mortified.  Not good for anyone's confidence.

Your meal sounds lovely @Busy-Lizzie.  Must admit I've gone off Chardonnay and prefer Sauvignon these days.   Has the carpenter been?

Good luck @Liriodendron.  Hope all the sorting and packing goes well.

Gotta go see the septic tank man so sorry to all those I've missed.

Morning all/afties Pat. Hope the test goes well. You don't need any more stress.
Getting chilly here too, just as you're almost warming up - in theory anyway.
Lovely looking day just now, after the smirr and rain yesterday, and the birds are all stuffing their little faces.
Glad to see, looking back, that @Liriodendron's lump is not a problem. What a relief.
An extra wee nap @Dovefromabove. Just what was needed  ;)
@Hostafan1- 'an LP'. Showing your age luv  :D
Take it easy @punkdoc. Hope the stings are on the wane now.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

To be honest Fove, I’m a bit scared of doing it. I might fall off. 😳 Anyway, I’m assured that there will be three people there at the time including the Cardiologist, so if I get out of breath and collapse, hopefully someone will catch me. 🥺
