Much more of this weather and our neighbour will be able to sail his boat all the way to his door  ⛵️

@Fairygirl. There's one near us. I assume it was won on one of those 70s game shows.
    " I'm 64 "
"Give her a round of applause"
"Name a vegetable beginning with pot.."
     "Potato"
     " you've won tonight's star prize... "
Cue lady in a bikini with hair that doesnt move ( not the bikini, the woman) draped over a fibreglass boat.

I went to America with a mate of mine when we were teenagers. We were having some food by a dock area in Philadelphia and a girl started shouting at a guy driving his boat past "Hey buddy do you wanna know if the price is right?" and the guy seemed to agree enthusiatically. I nudged my mate and laughed at the blatent prostitution going on but he pointed out she actually said "Hey buddy did you win that on The Price is Right?" and apparently he did. True story.

My dad has a boat in his shed. He started building it in the 70s and swears there's only a bit left to finish on it. I think he doesn't want to admit he has no idea how to actually get it out of the shed.
At least there is a chance that he can get it out, even if he has to take the end of the shed.  Many years ago a friend of my dad started building one in his loft!

I wish I had a big polytunnel to extend the growing season a bit. If I could get my runner beans under cover I reckon I could keep cropping into November. They're still flowering like they're up for the challenge.

I just went to put something in the greenhouse and there's a stream running across the floor. All the neighbouring new sheds and decking are shedding water downhill onto my ground. It's fairly harmless since I put in plenty of land drains when we built the retaining walls but it's never been this bad before.

It was gearing up to a nice autumnal day here, so I did a few little jobs before I had to go out, with the idea of getting more done when I came back. Of course, the heavens opened within five minutes of getting home.  :|

Hope there's no damage done, or possible future probs  @wild edges
