Do you ever see , on an icy day, dog - owners making their dog sit at the kerb? I'd love to see them waiting at traffic lights with their bare a**e flat on the pavement. Then again, perhaps not😒

OH often triggers rain by getting his bike out of the garage 🚲 🌧

If it’s rainy weather here, there no point in taking a brolly, it  will be windy as well. Very rarely use one, hoods are better.

My Spanish Water Dog hates water. When he is sitting under the car you know it’s going to rain. Another reliable indicator is when friend Laura comes - she beings it over from Scotland. She is well overdue a visit, it’s a dustbowl here.

IKEA car park. It always rains there. I rarely visit. It rarely rains. However, there's been a lot of rain the last few days. There is obviously another yet to be identified trigger.

  • It's Wisley for us B3 one summer we drove there in full sunshine, parked the car & before we could get out it started to rain. So we dashed into the glasshouse and the rain stopped,  as soon as we came outside it stated again!

Strangely enough we found 3 paddles in the ruin when we moved in but no boat of any description.   A wee one might have been fun for the pond.

It has finally stopped raining here but is still very blustery and, of course, too late to think about gardening today.  OH has just taken the dogs out for a dry walk but they'll need their paws washing afterwards.  Naturally, I have just washed their towels.

Someone along from me has a boat. The r*ddy thing is permanently covered with a tatty, plastic sheet of some kind, and every so often they come out and 'look at it'.  :/

Not sure why they have it. Despite the copious rain here, we're not in any great danger from flooding. We're up a hill   ;)

Next door have a boat ... think it’s moored at Horning or somewhere ... and in summer they go on trips along the coast ... well, he is a sea captain 👨‍✈️

My dad has a boat in his shed. He started building it in the 70s and swears there's only a bit left to finish on it. I think he doesn't want to admit he has no idea how to actually get it out of the shed.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
