Ruby Turner and Beverly Knight, both get a shout from me.  Fab voices.
Did anyone get affected by the power outages yesterday?

Greetings all.  OH and I have been out to the annual street flea market in Moutiers.   It includes a "classic" car rally which parades thru at about 2pm.  We managed to avoid that bit.   Came home with 5 shallow plastic "terracotta" planters for 50 cents each, a sedum spectabile, a sedum something else and a whopping house leek type thingy and a brass and copper pot with a spout which I shall hang in a tree for a robin's nest.

It tried to rain on us for about 5 minutes and one drop fell right inside the back of my frock.   Shivery.   While we had lunch we had a 5 minute downpour.  Dry and wndy now and for th erest of the day but we may get a decent storm tomorrow pm, just as OH is finishing his golf round.

Thought we were having a storm last night but then realised the thunder was the fireworks at the FĂȘte du Lac in the village.  Had Bonzo spooked all night poor thing cos he was out having his bedtime pee just as they started.  Heaven knows what all the local cattle, horses and wildlife thought of it.

Thanks to Lyn I have some aconitum to sow and then some sewing to do.

Hope you both are staying warm @Pat E and everyone else is safe from the stormy bits.
