    Not a word I'd come across but I love the dictionary definition I came across.

    1. a shrewd, unprincipled person, especially a politician.
      "snollygosters must be thrown out of political office and other positions of power"
    If they did that, parliament would be empty.Ā  Possibly not a bad thing.

    On reflection I don't think it does fit for most politicians.Ā  They have principles.Ā  It's just that those principles will change to suit their requirements.
