I don't understand how you can be so bitter about someone you don't know.  Anyway, I'm not getting into any sort of argument far too many on this site lately for my liking. So I'll just leave this thread alone.

I would hope that we have a friendly debate on this thread rather than an argument. You'll be more than welcome if you decide to pop in again 😊 @Yviestevie

Come in for a grumble. Just been out for a torchlight tour and the bloody vine weevils are having a good old party on my terrace tonight. Must have picked of at least 50 which were swiftly dispatched under my crocs. Hate these things my rose leaves look like lace again and now they are hanging out on the conifers before nibbling around the edges of every lily.  Turned on the tv and everything is rubbish... garden lighting has made the house main fuse pop so going to have to move everything to figure out what’s going on. Not my day!

Definitely worth a grumble @Jacquimcmahon. It just takes one infested pot to start the trouble doesn't it?😕

It's summer.  2 months of rubbish on TV.  Silly season.

In-laws visit (1st time in this house).
Me (showing my OH): Something is eating this rose.
(BTW it was a leafcutter bee).
My MIL: You should spray it.
MIL an hour later: Have you seen this plant? Something is eating it. I think you should buy something and spray it. I know you don't like it but it would be a shame to lose it.
My OH a day later: She asked if you really don't spray anything.
