    Re hard water ... apparently it can cause problems longer term but I’ve had one in the Shady Bank at least 5 years and Norwich water is notoriously hard and we’ve no problem yet 🤞

    Aha that's good - I wasn't sure what your water was like. I think I'm definitely going to look into getting one. And now I will stop hijacking the thread!

    There’s usually something of interest to be found here @punkdoc 😉 ... but be that as it may, I shall snuggle under the duvet now ... is it a new Book at Bedtime this week? Nope... it’s not ... I fell asleep early a lot last week so I’ve sort of lost my place with this one 📖

    Yes Chicky. Not snow here, but widespread elsewhere. We’ve got the wood heater going. 
    Hope it’s a bit warmer for your chicklet when she arrives.

    I had real problems sleeping for the first half of the night as my shoulder was really painful ... fortunately once a couple of paracetamol kicked in I slept well ... despite the tawny owls calling nearby 😊
