    Morning all.

    Good heavens June already!

I'll be gardening and HWing today but tomorrow we are going to visit 2 Open Gardens and have lunch out.

    It's warm and sunny today.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

They're twisted.  The bottom bit is straight for pushing into the earth and then you just wind the tomato up the twists - easier than trying to get string taut enough and can be used outside too.   Will post a pic when done.

Shame about the hills but best not to risk it in dodgy weather.   Have you found the source of the leak?  Had the same thing happen to me after I painted Possum's room in the old house ready for selling but, fortunately, after it had sold.  A storm lifted a couple of tiles off the roof above so we had to get a chap in to fix them.  We left them a pot of the same paint for when it had dried out.

Any idea if you're going to be in Norfolk in August ... Wonky and I were thinking of a trip to Beth Chatto then ... you mentioned you might like to go sometime?

Man coming on Monday to look at leak. Probably the roof  :/
Ahh - I get the picture re the twists.  I did the string winding quite successfully a couple of years ago. My toms are still very small, even though they're undercover. A small cane might  be enough for them! Smaller varieties though, so I'm assuming they won't get huge.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Hi all.
Hole digging today, followed by rugby and the CL final.
Off to RHS Chatsworth next week, no idea whether I shall be able to walk around, but at least there is a lot more space to sit down.
