    Maggots .... what delicacies they would’ve been 😋  ... we survived on Ma’s mashed spud and water gravy ... and my daughter @WonkyWomble still frightens the step-wombles with stories about those meals 😱

    Sounds like you all lived in real luxury

    We had permission to use this hole and eat the grass at weekends it had rising damp but we was appy.
