    On boards.ie it works well.   
    It’s not ‘us’ that I think badly of ... its just ‘them’ that I’m wary of ... I’ve been a member of this forum for around ten years and others for longer ... I’m afraid it’s the voice of experience that makes me wary ... and if we don’t learn from experience then we’re fools. 

    Plenty of ways to say thanks or Well done ... if you don’t want to quote just put the name and a word or symbol 
    as in
