Morning 😀. As you say @Dovefromabove, a beautiful morning out there after the last couple of days of very welcome rain. The greenhouse inspection this morning has quite lifted my spirits, after a sleepless night worrying about work 😳. A rarity for me, so will make up for it tonight by sleeping for England 🏴
Chicklet is back to Uni this weekend, so we are planning an evening watching Bohemian rhapsody (I know, I’m late to the party 🎉) for her last night. Then we are spending the weekend in Nottingham so we don’t have to do the drive there and back in a day.
Hope you enjoyed Malvern @Busy-Lizzie....and that you managed to dodge the showers ☔️
Ooh yes! Looking forward to news and pics from Malvern 😃 Hate those sleepless nights @chicky ... hope that doesn’t happen again ((hugs)). Have a lovely weekend 😊 My arm/shoulder ‘thing’ has disturbed my sleep recently, so I took a couple of Solpadeine Max at bedtime last night and had a really good night 🛌 👍 😊

Morning folks. Just a normal weekend coming up - I was getting used to having an extra day with all the recent Bank Holidays! Oh well, only a few weeks until the next one! Have a good day all.
Good morning all. Very cold and damp day here today.
I dragged Hubby to town today to look at a new Lounge Suite that had recliner chairs included. He keeps sitting in front of Tele and nodding off with his neck at awkward angles, so I decided he’d be better with a chair that could move into a better shape. Thankfully, we found one that suits very well. Should be delivered next week time time. 😃. This suite has two single recliners as well as one each end of the three seater, so I’ll able to nod off too.
Morning all. Malvern show is today. Yesterday was the journey to our friends’ house and the afternoon spent with them. Yesterday was a horrid day, rained quite a bit. Today, so far, the sun is shining after early mist.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Chicky, did that Rose I sent you take? It might be the backstop. The parent is currently under threat. The grandparent has gone. When clearing back to the boundary with a pair of loppers, I realised why they had dropped the rowan across my shrub border. Beside taking out the back of the Cornus kousa chinensis, they had also butchered a viburnum offshoot, and taken the main stem out of a Magnolia Susan that had been there ten years. The philadelphus smashed down will grow back. The viburnum is bleeding to death, and the Magnolia is unlikely to regrow from that low down , I think.
Bring sandwiches and coffee, I am going to tie myself to a tree.
