I think it was Richard Dawkins who objected to bishops having an automatic seat in the House of Lords "just because they have an invisible friend". The bloke can be quite annoying but that did make me laugh. Religion is lovely in its place and it can and has done a great deal of good. In my opinion, it has no place in Government or law.

I do find old buildings fascinating. How they built them without any modern technology is incredible, no wonder many of them took hundreds of years to complete. I have no time for organised religion, and don't understand how people can get sucked into what I see as mumbo-jumbo and mind control. That said, as long as they don't try to inflict their beliefs on me I will reciprocate.
Millions of euros have been pledged to fund the rebuild. Given the lack of suitable mature tall oaks to provide the beams they are going to have to be inventive and that will mean arguing pros and cons, in committees no doubt. Loads of fun to come.
However, an excellent opportunity for craftsmen to perfect their skills and train new people.
