    Anyway, the main thing is that no one was seriously injured , it could have been much worse in terms of lives lost.

    Are we talking Breitbart here @Hostafan1?   If so they are right wing and therefore attractive to some with very divisive and fundamentalist Christian views, but they will exploit any sense of ‘difference’ to cause envy, anger and hatred.

    I should say, his former chief strategist Steve Bannon was the executive chairman of Breitbart! Anyway, gives me shudders just thinking about Trump.

    Well, Steve Bannon was a sort of co- founder / Exec Chair of Breitbart ... they got him elected 🙄

    water tankers to put out the fire ... oh yes, thousands of tonnes of water crashing down on a medieval building ... that’d preserve it of course 🙄

    Never heard of Breitbart.  The most likely cause of the fire is either carelessness or an electrical fault.  Latest I heard is that the building is still standing, but that doesn't yet mean it will remain that way.  Parts may be so badly damaged that they need to be taken down and rebuild or are actually beyond repair.  Only time will tell.  Apparently at least one fireman has been either badly injured or killed. 
    Seeing the images of firemen on the high levels of the building just goes to emphasise the fact that they put their lives on the line almost every day of the year.
