    Any advance on Edhelkas guess?

Can you tell I’m bored? Too hot to garden. I’m off for a siesta!

An unamed one from Wilko - probably HT and fairly strong red fading to pink.  I suspect it's a very common one:

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Guess the 🌹

After a bit of cooler weather, the new flushes on my red roses have surprised me by being, well, almost red! But they are not conforming to type. So, which is which?

The choices are- Darcy Bussell, Munstead Wood, LD Braithwaite

And the answer is... from the top, Darcy Bussell, Munstead Wood, LD Braithwaite - cunningly, not mixed up at all  :)

Never mind, you get the consolation prize for having a go, @edhelka!

Here’s another beauty in the heat (pre heatwave too, boy is it boiling out there) - you can probably guess if you are au-fait with my love-mostly hate relationship with this rose:

  • hi everyone
I have just registered on the forum. I love my roses, but I love the perfumed ones. we have recently moved home, and I had to disturb 5 of my roses, (by digging them up) and brought them to our new home. I planted them as soon as  I could, (April) it did knock them back a bit. I am putting them on for you to see. the pink/yellow, is called  DOUBLE DELIGHT, the apricot pink is CHANDOS BEAUTY. the white one, is, I think MARGERET MERRIL. the perfume is beautifull!!! as you can see, they seem to be growing well, and hopefully next season, they will be better. I did leave quite a few behind.
  • a few more from my previous garden, we are now starting from scratch with this one. the plant on the fence is CLEMATIS MONTANA. beautifull fragrance.
  • Some lovely flowers there @griffiths_lynn1 , such lovely petals on those big, blousy flower heads.  I have my first Iceberg flowers - just two buds maturing in it's first year and some late flowering (2nd) Masquerade flowers - changing from pink, to yellow and every shade in betweenbetween.
