Goodness, I don't think my Mme de C has any buds yet! Whereabouts are you, @Suesyn?

How big is your garden, Marlorena.?
Have you got a panoramic view?

Madame Alfrede Carrierre, this is the start of her second season,   I didn't expect her to be quite so forward.  I tried to count how many buds there are but lost count after 20. I hope she will be flowering all summer.
This is an unknown one which we inherited growing in the driveway.  It gets terrible blackspot and has been hacked down to the ground before now but this year it's looking quite healthy, it must have liked the heat last year.  The flowers are large and bright pink (not my favourite colour but it looks good against the wall ) and it has buds already.
Here’s my Rose Mme Alfred Carrière. Just noticed a few small buds on it..

^I like the way that's trained across your window...

No I only have a small garden, shaped like a horseshoe - detached bungalow... I have a 'view' at the back, I'm not overlooked there...  but thank you for asking about my garden...

We are in Somerset, Madame Alfrede is planted in a  West facing border and I am trying to train her round the corner where there is no soil so that the blank gable wall has something on . The most advanced buds are ones that I have persuaded round the corner so south facing .

This is my Sheila's Scented/Perfumed? if I remember correctly.  One is three and the other two years old, couldn't get two the first year. I love the coppery new growth and the two toned flowers smell lovely. Never was a rose grower before but now have six in the garden. 🙂

Ta, its in the soil and north facing (which is why i picked this particular rose) but towards the top of the wall it gets the sun throughout the day. Which is why its trying to get there :)

i didnt envisage it to grow into a ‘palm shape’ but am now curious how it will look when in Flower.
