    ..all coming along nicely....

    gales for tomorrow... I've had to tie everything in just in case... rose stems can be fragile at this time..

    @B3   thanks for showing.. .always wanted 'Tess' but never got round to it..  look forward to seeing yours... please let us know what the scent is like, I don't think I've smelt this one actually...

    Does anybody grow the HT 'Lovely Lady' and if so, is it a good 'doer'.  I know most people on here are fans of DA roses and I do have some but my favourite rose flower shape is an HT one.

    My Ena (Harkness) are just popping. Such extraordinary scent and huge at the moment. Beside my front door. They are about six years in, and starting to thrive.

    @MrsDeeGarden - exciting times!

    I've got a new Arthur Bell too but no buds yet.

    I don't think it's a David Austin though. I bought mine for £4 at a garden centre in a generic pot. DA do sell it online though with some other roses that they haven't bred themselves.

    Graham Thomas is a David Austin rose which I think is also a yellow.

    I sometimes get them muddled up in my head because they both have men's names and similar colour.

    I saw a few happy sparrows bouncing around between my rose plants obviously picking the aphids off first thing this morning.

    Natural pest control at its best!
