oh gosh, such fabulous roses @Omori .. especially like the first picture...all those yellow and oranges... and nice to see Mutabilis, you don't see that often enough.. I've also gone back to HT's a little [not too much]... so good to know about 'Hanne'...

@Daniel Rutherford ... great photo Daniel... I like your companion plantings too...

Some more roses from me (names not known).
First undamaged bloom on this rose, it is an Austin type, but if it were Austin, I think the previous owner would keep the tag, he did that with more expensive roses. It's loved by thrips and disease susceptible but quite vigorous and pleasant fragrance.
One of my roses in the front garden. It was relatively fine yesterday and it is completely covered in blackspot today. I am losing the battle against it now... I am picking the leaves if it is on 10-20% of a bush but when it is a full bush, I just don't see the point. The spores are everywhere anyway. Sometimes I think I should rethink the front garden and plant only low growing, compact, 100% disease and weather resistant roses there.
And the last one, Gentle Hermione. Also a struggler here. It only has one good cane, looking like an HT. I am not sure if I should get it rid of it and replace it with something else or buy a new one and start again or move it to the more sheltered back garden. I know that this rose has a good reputation but the one I inherited is a weakling, no matter what I do to help it.

Mortimer Sackler - really lovely scent on this. Wafts in every time the front door is opened.

I really need to put some kind of support on the wall for it though as the flowers are weighing the canes down to near horizontal now.
