Not great photos, starting to get dark and I'm too tired to bother using my proper camera and taking the photos off it etc. But still wanted to share

    And lots more to come.

Amber Queen still not fully open! I thought she was going to be the first but she's been beaten by at least two other roses that started opening much later.

Something fat and feathery sat on the limb of my beautiful  Sheila's Perfumed ( I do wish I could get the name right, see previous post with picture ☺️) and broke the stem. I have cut rose from the top, reduced the length a little, and removed all but three sets of leaves. I have at the moment put it in a pot of soil/compost mix, will it root and grow?

There’s a decent chance it will.  I put mine somewhere shady and make sure the soil stays moist.  Personally I would just keep two sets of leaves as the more leaves you keep, the more taxing it is on the cutting.

I agree, everytime I walk up to the shed, it hits me.
