    @WonkyWomble ..oh that's pretty... your rose is 'Souvenir de Mme. Leonie Viennot'.. a very beautiful climber/rambler... I don't think it blooms much after the main flush, but nice in a garden like yours in any case..

    The first rose bloom in my garden. Alas, I found it had snapped, so in the vase it goes.
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    Thank you so much Marlorena! Now you have said it I can see the label in my minds eye! 😊 it's doing really well this year, I'll post some more when it gets going, thank you again!

    That's beautiful Eustace! I'm not surprised it snapped though, the weather has got windy lately! The gardens loss is the houses gain I guess, you get to have the beauty indoors.

    Me again with the unknown/maybe Mme AC rose, second bloom, definitely fragrant. I wait for the main flush for an ID (just sharing because it's pretty), it has clusters of tiny buds, lots of flowers to come.

    ..very pretty rose.. I don't think it's Mme. AC now, because the blooms look too small and not full enough...   let me have another think...
    ..whatever it is, I'd like one...

    @edhelka

    ok.. I'm now thinking your rose is the one sold here as 'Bloomfield Abundance', which in fact is an incorrect name as it's really a form of 'Cecile Brunner'...  here's a photo that is closest to yours...
